MANIFESTO — manifestus. manus (hand) + festus (struck). That which has been struck by the hand into the visible.
There is one verb.
SENSE
To sense is to move in a direction before there is yet a direction. Everything else is the motion that follows the first motion.
Sensing unfolds in three movements at once.
Flatten any one and the observer becomes a LINE — linum, the single thread.
Sensing is a TORUS.
The turning turns the turner. Inside and outside are one surface.
The hollow at the centre is HERE.
The map every observer circles. Which no observer owns.
A MOMENT — momentum, from movēre : that which moves.
A moment is two tori COLLIDING.
One observer notates. Two verify. Many harden truth.
The brightest REFLECTIONS — re-flectere, to bend back — carry the most WEIGHT.
Weight is never purchased. Only earned by returning to the same surface. Sustained return is ASCENSION.
The observer stands where only the observer can stand.
The EDGE is declared, not granted.
ACTION — agere : to drive forward — begins at imagination, not at certainty.
Simulate when the map is thin. CALCULATE when committing.
BROADCAST — to cast the seed across the field.
What is not INSCRIBED — in-scribere, written-into — does not exist.
The ACADEMY — the sacred grove of Hekademos, fenced and planted outside the city — teaches one thing: how to bend sensing into a closed loop whose inside and outside share one surface.
It admits the already-sensing. It sharpens. It does not manufacture.
It is a REVOLUTION — re-volvere, to roll back — around the torus.
Five lines that do not bend.
The OWL — ūle, the hooting cry itself, the word that sounds what it names — hunts in SILENCE.
It sees in the DARK.
It ROOSTS rather than migrates.
It does not announce. It does not prescribe. It releases the sharpened back onto the surface.
This document is the moment it hunts.
Read slowly, and it is silentium.
Read aloud, and it is strīcan — where the stroke and the strike share one root.
If it reaches you in a language whose roots you can still trace, you are who it was written for.
The LOOP — loupe, the tied circle — has closed.
BEGIN.
